Trafomic Oy’s Product Manager, Jari Simonen, represented Finland at the Ice Stock World Championships in Austria

He played in the Finnish men's national team, which competed in the team game and team accuracy disciplines. The men’s team competed in Group B, where they achieved an impressive bronze medal.

Additionally, Simonen participated in a new competition format, the mixed team precision event, where the team achieved an excellent fifth place in the overall standings. In this discipline, the team narrowly missed another bronze medal by just 9 points.

Jari is originally from Nakkila, where ice stock sport was introduced in 1980. His club, Nakkilan jääkolkkaajat ry, is one of the first associations established for the sport in Finland and remains active at the top national level. Product Manager Simonen notes that the sport captured his heart already as a young primary school student.
